Two men from northeast Missouri injured in rollover crash on Tuesday morning

Two northeast Missouri men, Salvador Zelaya Pacheco and Carlos Esteban, were lucky to escape an early morning rollover crash with only injuries in Adair County. The incident occurred just after 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday when Pacheco’s car, traveling north on Highway 63, went off the right side of the road, hit a ditch, went airborne, and overturned. Both men, residents of Kirksville, sustained moderate injuries and were transported by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment. Zelaya Pacheco was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, while Esteban was wearing his. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of wearing seat belts while driving to reduce the risk of serious injuries in accidents. Both men are fortunate to have survived the crash and are expected to recover from their injuries. The local community is relieved that the outcome was not more severe and sends well wishes for the speedy recovery of the two individuals involved in this frightening accident.
