Electricity problem causing disruption in Missouri court systems, expected to resolve shortly

Missouri’s court systems are currently facing disruptions caused by an electrical issue that damaged computer equipment at one of the Missouri Judiciary’s data centers. As a result, crucial systems like Case.Net and e-filing are either unavailable or only partially functional. However, the Missouri Judiciary has assured the public that IT staff from the state courts administrator’s office are actively working to resolve the problem.

In a press release, the Missouri Judiciary stated that they expect functionality to be fully restored within a few days and that the courts will remain open to continue essential functions. While the cause of the electrical problem is still under investigation, the department has confirmed that it does not believe suspicious activity was involved.

Individuals with any questions or concerns regarding the disruption are encouraged to contact the OSCA Help Desk at (888)541-4894 or email OSCA.Help.Desk@courts.mo.gov. Despite the setbacks caused by the electrical issue, the Missouri Judiciary remains committed to ensuring the efficient operation of the court systems and providing necessary services to the public.
